Are you looking for a mentorship-focused associateship with plenty of room to grow? Are you sick of traffic, looking for more affordable living, or just want more space?

If so, check out this Western Massachusetts associateship! This beautiful, growing family practice needs a part-time associate interested in growing with the practice. The practice owner is committed to mentorship, and new graduates are welcomed and encouraged!

The space and the team will support you as you perfect your skills and gain speed and confidence. The team is committed to learning, and the practice owner is active in organized dentistry and study clubs.

The practice owner says, “I love to invest in my practice and whatever my team needs.” That means you’ll work with the latest technology, including a brand-new Panorex, digital scanner, and laser. The hygienists also use top-of-the-line equipment, and the practice owner is open to investing in equipment that improves efficiency and productivity.

The office is filled with natural light, and many patients say they’ve never been to such a clean office. There’s even an in-house laundry service with a changing room custom made by California Closets.

The practice owner hosts quarterly team appreciation days, including spa days, pool days, dinners out, and an overnight at the Cape. The team also celebrates birthdays and holidays, plus has a monthly team lunch meeting.

The team also strives to be involved in the local community. The office serves as a collection site for Halloween candy, which gets shipped overseas to our Troops. The practice also donates dental supplies to local food banks and school districts. The team’s long-term goal is to go overseas to do volunteer dentistry.

The owner says, “I have been practicing dentistry for 20 years now, and I can honestly say that I love my profession. I have owned my own dental practice for almost 17 years now and I am so happy with how things have progressed. I am a very compassionate person and dentist, and I definitely think that I work very well with all types of patients, especially those with dental anxiety. I am looking for a part-time associate who will fit in with my dental team — someone who is honest and compassionate.”

And what about the town? West Springfield, Massachusetts is a small city with a hometown feel on the west bank of the Connecticut River. The practice is well located, right next to the recently renovated library and near the post office and police and fire departments. The area is great for a midday walk, with numerous loops to take you on errands or for lunch. Several small restaurants are nearby, including Calabrese Market (where you can pick up dinners-to-go), Clemenzas (for brick oven pizza), B. Napoli for Italian, and Cal's for Pub food. You can walk to Tandem Bagel for coffee or a quick breakfast, and you’ll also be close to Starbucks and Costco.

The practice is also near many specialists, including oral surgeons, endodontists, and orthodontists, making it convenient for doctors and for patients.

In your free time, the practice is only a few miles from the Basketball Hall of Fame and MGM Casino. The Amtrak Station and Peter Pan bus station are close by for day trips to New York City. Nearby Northampton has lots of cute shops and fine dining options, along with Amherst, Stockbridge (home of Kripalu Yoga Center), and Sturbridge. You can get to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods in just 90 minutes for all sorts of concerts and activities.

Prefer the outdoors? Hikers enjoy nearby Mount Tom, the Quabin, and Ashley Reservoir. Good skiing is not too far at Butternut, Jiminy Peak, and Berkshire East. Boat on Otis Lake or golf at the Ranch and Great Horse Country Club.

Entertainment options include Tanglewood Concerts, the Big E, Six Flags, The Holyoke St Patrick's Day Parade and Road Race, the Springfield Museum, the Dr. Seuss Museum, and a motorcycle museum. The MGM Casino has many shows, a bowling alley, an ice skating rink, and a movie theater. You can also see concerts at Sonny's Place in Somers, CT and Xfinity Center in Hartford, CT. Mark your calendar for seasonal festivals for apple picking, fall foliage, and pumpkin patches. And don't forget to check out Bright Nights in Forest Park.

Need more options? Boston and New York City are easy day trips.

Within West Springfield, you can choose from many quaint neighborhoods near the practice. There’s a wide variety of both public and private school systems in the area, including Sturbridge, Longmeadow, and Wilbraham — all great places to raise a family. Many great colleges are in the area, too, including Amherst College, Westfield University, AIC, Springfield College, and WNEU.

Two Air Force bases close and two Amazon distribution centers help fuel the local economy.
