As the seller explains, “We have a strong dental community here in Bellingham and northwest Washington. The patient base has a high dental IQ. They want the best and are willing to pay for it. My referrals are well maintained. A bulk of my patients I have known for a long time. When I was first starting my practice a senior dentist here in Bellingham advised me, ‘Be good to your patients, give them the best you can, and they will be good to you.’ I think I would have done that anyway, but that advice has held up. I really love dentistry, and all the changes through the years. I always have. I keep current with continuing education. I teach at the University of Washington, I do some hospital cases at the ED and OR. I don't want to sell and just walk away. I want each and every established patient and staff member of mine to stay with the practice.”

Likewise, the staff make the practice run so efficiently. He continues, “We currently have the best staff of my 30+ year career. We work together, play together, laugh, and have fun. We have team-building events like Seahawks games, overnights in Seattle, dinners, lunch and learns together. This puts energy and patients in the treatment column.”

And patients appreciate that energy and atmosphere. Most are word-of-mouth referrals, and the practice has never had to advertise.
