Practice Profile: Solo Practice, Idyllic Mountain Lifestyle

Be the only dentist in an idyllic, unique town nestled among Washington’s Cascade Mountains! This 3-operatory “local and friendly” practice serves about 1,000 patients from the town and surrounding valley.

The general dentistry practice includes dental lasers and intraoral cameras and is ideal for someone who prefers a solo practice where they can make all the decisions. The building, located right in the heart of town between the river and a trailhead, can be part of the sale. The practice is affordably appraised, with reasonable overhead and no competition.

The seller does not currently work every day and there’s an 18-week wait for hygiene. With more remote workers moving into the area – the local school added 125 students last year – you have potential to expand to your desired workload.

But perhaps the biggest draw is the location! The New York Times recently named Washington State’s Methow Valley as “a little piece of heaven” on its list of 52 places to love in 2021. This glacial valley lies near the Pacific Crest Trail and the Pasayten Wilderness Area. The north-central Washington area has the largest cross country ski area in the nation (over 120 miles of groomed trails!) and a thriving mountain bike community. North Cascades National Park blooms in blues and greens and yellows throughout the year. You can rock climb, hike, river raft, fish, golf, or do anything you like outdoors. And try such local favorites as outdoor hockey, snowshoe softball, and the annual Balloon Roundup that draws dozens of colorful hot-air balloons to float against a backdrop of snow-capped mountains.

Enjoy an active restaurant scene, including a local brewery and three wineries in a walkable downtown with an Old West vibe (including wooden boardwalks and the state’s oldest saloon). The local population tends to be active, outdoorsy, and health conscious. A larger town just nine miles away offers more retail and entertainment, while Seattle and Spokane are both four hours away by car.

If you’re looking for a solo practice where you can live a mountain lifestyle, look no further than the Methow Valley. This affordable practice will support a great work-life balance and a comfortable lifestyle while keeping you productive from Day One. Intrigued?
